silchester; roman city; calleva atrebatum

This collection tells us about the objects used by the people the Roman city of Silchester, a.k.a. Calleva Atrebatum in Britannia. The artefacts were chosen by Katherine Barnes during her studies at University of Reading, where she excavated at Silchester, in consultation with Silchester's Directors, Dr Amanda Clarke & Prof. Michael Fulford.
