This audio is a recording of instrumental music being played in a small diner that’s in view of the historic Edinburgh Castle. The castle was built by King David I during the 11th century and was home to many significant individuals throughout its lifetime such as Mary, Queen of Scots. In the 17th century, the castle became the base for the military and, at one point in time, held 600 troops on its grounds. The music being played in the diner is but one way that one can spot how much has changed in the city and our society since King David I built the famous Edinburgh Castle.
