Mike Horne joined Gordon Russell in 1965, following in the footsteps of his parents. As an Apprentice Draughtsman, he learned the ropes under the guidance of skilled mentors. Early in his career, Mike focused on making scale drawings, later moving on to bespoke designs, including a curved yew cabinet for the Queen. His time at Gordon Russell spanned significant changes, but he fondly recalls the craftsmanship and creativity in the Drawing Office.
