The Office Assistant - Linda Johns

Linda Johns joined Gordon Russell in 1963, following in the footsteps of her father, mother, and grandfather. Working in the office, she operated the Power-Samas accounting machine, which calculated workers’ wages. Fridays were her favourite day, as she got to deliver wage packets to the factory floor. Linda also met her future husband, Colin, at Gordon Russell, and their wedding was attended by many colleagues from the factory.
